They are lined with small pieces of unspun fleece, which is knit into the mitten in a regular pattern. They are very soft and warm, and become even warmer as the mittens are worn and the fleece felts.The kit contains 217 yards of Moonlight and Laughter's hand dyed merino yarn, approximately 2 ounces of Moonlight and Laughter hand dyed fiber, and a pattern. The yarn in this kit is hand painted in a buttery yellow of varying depths of shade.
